Putnam Symphony Orchestra Holiday Extravaganza!
Usher in the Holidays with “Sweet Treats”
Putnam Symphony Orchestra has been heralding the start of the Holiday Season for over 45 years. Join in this year’s annual Extravaganza as we bring your favorites to life under the skilled direction of Christine Smith. Meet Santa and Frosty, join in a snowball fight, trim the “tree”, countdown to the shimmering lights, and join in caroling with the orchestra as they usher in the holiday season.
This year’s performance “Sweet Treats: A Musical Celebration” will feature music inspired by the tastes of the holidays – from gingerbread to candy canes, sugarplums to hot chocolate as well as some of beloved fan favorites!
Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors. Bring the whole family for just $40. Tickets available on the tickets page and at the door. Group discounts are available via email.
Putnam
Symphony
Orchestra
The Putnam Symphony Orchestra comprises musicians from the community and surrounding areas of Putnam County. It was initially organized by Erich J. Miethner in 1976 to address the community’s needs by expanding the opportunities for cultural entertainment. This new symphonic orchestra was founded with the help of Guideposts and the Putnam Arts Council, both of which are significant supporters of cultural activities within Putnam County.
Each year, Putnam Symphony Orchestra delights in performing a holiday concert, and again in the spring, where we play pieces of all levels and interests.
